From 1968 through 1978, March of Dimes made substantial donations to the Boundary Community Hospital. Several pieces of vital equipment were donated to the obstetrics unit - including new surgery lights, a light in the nursery to treat jaundiced babies, an incubator, a fetal heart monitor, and a resuscitator. Using this equipment, for many years thereafter, the doctors and obstetric nurses saved the lives of many infants.

Recently, the hospital donated the Kreiselman resuscitator to your museum. To honor the heroic medical staff of the Boundary Community Hospital, the resuscitator has been placed on display for public viewing. This advertisement, showing the “safe” resuscitator manufactured by the Ohio Chemical & Surgical Equipment Co. explains the piece of equipment.

Come to the museum to see the new display.
