The historic Rex Theater has announced the first live state play of 2025, “Laura Ingalls Wilder: Voice of the Prairie.” The performance will be the first stage play to take place at the Rex in nearly 90 years.

Do you have what it takes to act like a Wilder? Auditions for “Laura Ingalls Wilder: Voice of the Prairie” will be held Monday, March 3, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the historic Rex Theater in downtown Bonners Ferry.

The first and second round of auditions for the “Laura Ingalls Wilder: Voice of the Prairie” live stage play have had an exceptional turn out, according to Abra Chouinard, owner of the Rex Theater. The third round of auditions is set to take place on Monday, March 17, from 4-5 p.m.

Senior center to host dance hall, lessons on Thursdays
Everyone is invited to come dancing Thursdays at the at the Seniors Hospitality Center with lessons ahead of the dance. The community, family event is open to all ages and is presented by the Bonners Ferry Steppers.
Living Voice announces 'Within the Silence’ performance
A free live performance of “Within the Silence” by Living Voices is being presented by the Boundary County Human Rights Task Force, co-sponsored by the Idaho Humanities Council, on Friday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the Pearl Theater in Bonners Ferry.
