Pair do well at rifle competition
Two members of the Kootenai Valley Junior Rifle Team traveled to Spokane on Nov. 2 to participate in the first match of the year, which was the Washington State International Rifle Championships. Shooters could choose to shoot the match at the Spokane or Tumwater rifle ranges.

Dual-wise, although falling to nationally-ranked opponents in Stanford (29-12), Nebraska (32-7) and Oklahoma State (38-6) earlier this season, the Wolverines will look to get back on track when they head to Coach Hall's old stomping grounds this Saturday to face Presbyterian, Duke, and NC State.

PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL: Bonners Ferry stumbles in first two matchups
Bonners Ferry (0-2) will head to the Kellogg for the Silver Valley Tournament Nov. 22 and 23 where they'll face the Lady Jaguars in the opening round. Kellogg, Genesis Prep and Wallace will all be in attendance.
