100 Years Ago

Charles Woods, proprietor of the Amazon Theater, is asking contractors for bids on his new theater building, which is to be built early this spring.

Louis Annagnost, a Greek employed on the section gang of the Great Northern Railway here, had both legs broken Sunday afternoon when a rail, which he was helping unload from a car, fell on him.

At the meeting of the American Legion held last Tuesday night, a committee was appointed to arrange for a minstrel show to be given later this month under the auspices of the Legion.

The public is invited to attend the dedication of the newly constructed Bonners Ferry High School on Thursday, Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

The building on the corner of First and Main Streets, commonly known as the Randall Day Law Office, has been purchased by Sam and Carolyn Testa.

The Boundary County Soil Conservation District us proud to announce the 2004 Farmers of the Year, Dennis and Pam Ponsness.
