Registration underway for Robotics Build Day

Print Article

FLL Jr. Team Beta WeDo2 is hosting two separate build sessions for kids ages 6-10 on Friday, March 15. The first session is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., and the second session is from 1 to 3 p.m. where children will get to build and program a Lego WeDo2 robot.

During these sessions kids will learn the basics of navigating the WeDo2 building app, basic functions the WeDo2 is capable of performing and block coding while building a space rover and race car.

The sessions are capped at 20 students. The $20 registration fee will directly support the team’s goal of attending the FLL World Championship & Show in Houston, Texas. For a timely response, please direct questions to the Beta WeDo2 Facebook page.

In under a month team’s $21,000 goal is under $14,000. Every bit brings the team closer to heading to the heart of innovation.

People may donate directly by making checks payable to Valley View Elementary School memo, “Beta WeDo2” at 6750 Augusta St. Bonners Ferry, ID 83805 or through their Go Fund Me page
