Boundary County School District No. 101 is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children, ages 1-18, without charge.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

• Boundary County Middle School: June 10 to Aug. 16, 7:45 - 8:45 a.m. and noon-1 p.m.

• Bonners Ferry Municipal Pool: June 17 to Aug. 16, 9:45-10:15 a.m.

• United Methodist Church: Aug. 5-9, noon-12:30 p.m.

• Hope House: June 10 to Aug. 16, 1-2 p.m.

Parents are encouraged, but not required, to come enjoy lunch with their children. Adult meals are available to purchase for $3.85. Parents may also bring their own meal. USDA prohibits adults from eating any portion of a child’s meal.

USDA regulations require all free meals to be consumed onsite, in the designated eating area. The summer meal program is a federally funded grant that encourages feeding nutritious meals to all children during the summer months when school is not in session.
