ISP warns drivers to stay off local roadways
Due to the multiple crashes and slideoffs currently being handled by the Idaho State Police due to current road conditions, they requested drivers to please stay off the roads (US95) for anything other than emergency driving.

Fred William Lemmert (Crazy Fred), 52, was born on Sept. 4, 1954 in Cumberland Md., to William and Irene Lemmert. When he was 14 days old his family moved to California, at that time he became the youngest person to fly across the U.S.

John Albert Brown, 84, passed away quickly when the Lord called him home on Feb. 16, 2007. Private Services will be held.
Hazel Miller, 82
Hazel Miller passed away Feb. 17, 2007, at Boundary Community Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was 82. Hazel was born in Detroit Lakes, Minn., in Becker County, on Feb. 23, 1924, to Roy and Clara Halverson. She married Peder Miller on Feb. 23, 1941, in Detroit Lakes, Minn. They had two sons, Donald L. and Roger A. Miller.

Local climate change group promotes Internet carpooling
I'm writing this letter as part of a project by a new local group called "Climate Change Action Network" to promote carpooling. Everyone agrees that we need to cut back on our use of oil. Dependence on foreign oil is both a national security issue, and a drain on our economy. And then there's global warming to worry about.
