Michaela Dirks was named Bonners Ferry Junior Miss 2008 during Saturday’s program at Bonners Ferry High School.

The Sandpoint Elks Lodge has chosen Brooke Drapeau as its Bonners Ferry High School Student of the Month for February.

Brooke has been on the Bonners Ferry Dance Team and in Natural Helpers for four years. She is a three-year member of National Honor Society.

Fredrickson also will pay $500 in fines and $85 in court costs, be placed on two years probation and serve two days in jail after pleading guilty to a Jan. 3 battery.
