Lady Badgers enjoying excellent season with 10-2 record heading into league play

Badger softball has started the season with a tremendous competitive drive.  Going into league play, we currently have 10 wins under us and only 2 losses, with one of those losses coming from the 2015 5A second place state team, Coeur d’Alene High School.  The Lady Badgers are optimistic about the rest of our season and have been working hard to reach our goal of another state bid in May.  We have strong athletes who are driven and motivated.  With strong pitching from Sophmore Kadi Batemen, and a solid defense on the field, the girls are working hard to accomplish this goal.  Offensively, the team has put together some solid numbers with multiple out of the park home runs coming from Trinity Golder, Jadyn Bennett and Jorryn Bennett.  “I am excited about our future,” said coach Tomi Bateman.  “Coming into league play with this many games behind us is an advantage that we didn’t have last year.  I think you will see the experience benefit us these next few weeks of league play.”
