When Jeff Brubaker started Pro X Home Center out of his own personal shop in 2003 followed by the first store behind Truss Tek in 2005 even he had no idea how big it would become, or how fast it would grow.
Joseph Erwin Robins
Joseph Erwin Robins was born on July 10, 1931 in Crow Wing County, Minnesota to Curtis and Myrtle (Dingman) Robins. He met the love of his life, Coleen Marette Estabrooks, in Sugar Bush, north of Bemidji. They were married on December 10, 1949 in Bemidji. Their dedicated ministry together began even before they were married, and continued for over 60 years, as they shepherded churches in Minnesota, Montana, Idaho and Washington. The main thrust of Joseph’s ministry was evangelism – pointing people to the Hope of the world, Jesus Christ!
Tammy Lynn Southwick
Tammy Lynn Southwick (58) passed away on March 19, 2016 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home in Bonners ferry, Idaho with private interment in the Grandview Cemetery.
Jo Ann Roman
At 1:30 PM on March 20, 2016, after 64 years, Jo Ann Roman passed away at her Moyie Springs, Idaho home in the arms of her loving husband, Manny Roman. Cause of death was extensive cancer in her abdomen. Doctors attempted surgery on January 13, 2016; but said the cancer had spread too far and death was inevitable. She was discharged from the hospital on January 29, with a prognosis of two to four weeks to live.
Takao Butterfield
Takao Butterfield passed away on February 24, 2016 at his home in Moyie Springs, Idaho at the age of 66.
Gertrude Evlyn Baker
Gertrude Evlyn Baker (94) passed away on March 24, 2016 at the Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. She was a seven year resident of the Extended Care where she received good and loving care from Dr. Botkin and the Staff. Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00am in the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho with interment in the Porthill Cemetery.

James Everette Ellis
James Everette Ellis, 63, passed away surrounded by family and friends on February 26th, 2016 in Kirkland, Washington after a year long battle with cancer. A long time resident of Naples, Idaho, James recently moved to the Seattle area to live with his daughter and her family for further medical treatments in October 2015. James was born July 12th, 1952 in Sacramento, California. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ellis and is survived by his 2 daughters: Samantha and James Witt, Brier, WA; Kiera Ellis and Michael Curley, Issaquah, WA; grandchildren: Naomi (8) and Mason (4) Witt; His Mother: Maxine Ellis, Denver, CO and his seven brothers and sisters and their families, most of whom reside in Denver, CO as well. James was the kind of man that was always willing to lend a helping hand and do what he could for others. He loved his family especially his 2 grandkids and cared deeply for his 2 daughters.
H.C. Studer
H.C. Studer, 75, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho passed away March 9, 2016 at Honeysuckle House in Hayden. H.C. was born November 4, 1940 in Modesto, California to Herman and Helen (Simpson) Studer. As a child H.C. moved with his family to Coeur d’ Alene there he attended school until the eighth grade and the family moved to Worley, Idaho where he attended and graduated from High School in 1959. He then went on to the University of Idaho where he played football and earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with minors in Veterinary Science and Biological Science.

Eric Haase, 72, passed away March 5, 2016. He was born to Arthur and Jessie Haase on September 14, 1943 in Kelowna, B.C.
Badgers sweep Maniacs in 3-game series
The Bonners Ferry Badger baseball team travelled to Orofino this past weekend for their annual 3 game series against the Maniacs winning all 3 games for the first time in program history. The wins put the Badger baseball record at 3-1 in the early season.

BONNERS FERRY — A North Idaho man is among 14 people who were indicted by a federal grand jury for their roles in a 2014 rangeland standoff in Nevada.

James “Jim” Wilson (74) passed away on March 6, 2016 at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00pm at the Senior Center in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Badgers hoops season comes to an end with loss to Timberlake, 49-43
The Badgers basketball team were able to sweep Timberlake during the regular season, but after a loss against Kellogg in the district title game, Bonners came up short the third time, losing 49-43 and missing an opportunity for a play-in game for a chance to go to the state tournament.

Eugenia (Jean) Rosin Wedel passed away on February 17, 2016 at her home near Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Funeral services were held February 22, 2016, at Mt. View Church of God in Christ Mennonite, Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Ministers Shane Ensz and Willis Dyck officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery

Barbara E. Lindemann arrived in heaven Saturday, February 20th, 2016 at 3:00 a.m. She fought a courageous battle with cancer which never defeated her positive attitude and sweet spirit. She died at her home in Bonners Ferry with her husband, Phil, at her side.
