I am one who is pleased that the Pearl Theater has a ‘safety policy’.

The summer of 1955 I was the third generation born in Boundary County. My family has always had guns and strongly support the Second Amendment. The majority of those who have lived here for generations, and support the Pearl, don’t live in fear. That is new to our community.

I have enjoyed almost 100 shows over the eight years that I have been going to the Pearl. I for one love that little jewel. For 128 years, that building has been gun free and will be for another 128 years. I encourage all to take in an event this year. There is always something for everyone of all ages. Thank you to all the volunteers who work so hard to make the Pearl Theater a safe and welcoming place.
