New Farm & Art Market starting in spring

| March 19, 2020 1:00 AM

Upper Pack River Road community members have organized the Upper Pack Farm & Art Market, to be opening this spring. It will be held the first and third Saturdays, May through September, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the lot next door to the Samuels Store on Highway 95.

Organizers are looking for vendors interested in selling produce, cottage goods, and arts/crafts. If you made it or grew it, they can help you sell it.

Vendor applications and vendor guidelines can be obtained by emailing upperpackmarket@gmail.com. They will begin mapping out the market on Monday, March 23, so applications received by then will get the first designated spaces. They will, however, be accepting applications beyond that date … so it is never too late to apply.

A vendor meeting is 5 p.m. Monday, April 20, at the Blue Heron Restaurant inside the Samuels Store. This meeting is open to both registered vendors as well as those who are interested and would like more information.

Organizers are also looking for musicians to play on the market days. If you are interested or for more information, contact Mike Nunke at Full Circle Productions. Email: fullcircleproductionswa@gmail.com

Information: All updates and current information will be posted to their Facebook page regularly: www.facebook.com/UpperPackMarket

Opening day for the market is Saturday, May 2. This is a great opportunity to bring together the community that lives in the corridor between Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry and to help support the creative and hardworking people who live there.
