Pearl Theater to host virtual presentation

| September 17, 2020 1:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY — On Tuesday, Sept. 22, Pearl Theater will host a virtual presentation for the seasonal autumn equinox by Paul Bonnell; the presentation will be available to view on the Pearl Theater Facebook page.

According to Bonnell, the presentation will be “Incorporating photography, spoken word, live music, and an interactive workshop/creative component,”

The presentation extends his “Between Tower and Sea project,” which he presented at the Pearl Theater in February 2018 and has seen iterations in San Francisco, Oakland, Coeur d’Alene and Jersey City in the interim.

“The presentation explores the intersection(s) of time, creativity, community, and project work through artifacts, documents, and personal and collective histories,” Bonnell said. “The workshop/creative component may take you in creative directions!”

The presentation is supported in part by the Idaho Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Pearl Theater of Bonners Ferry is a non profit organization and the virtual event is free. Still, donations are strongly encouraged to help support the programming for the arts community.
