Bruce Wayne Voegele, 41

| June 3, 2021 11:12 AM

Bruce Wayne Voegele unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2021; he was 41. Bruce was born to Peggy Voegele on March 1, 1980, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Peggy and Bruce moved home to Bonners Ferry when he was just a toddler, where they lived with Peggy's father, Erwin Voegele.

Bruce attended school in Bonners Ferry and was a 1999 graduate of BFHS. Upon turning 21, Bruce moved to Elma, Wash., to be closer to his uncle Calvin and aunt Pam. Bruce lived in Elma until the time of his death.

Bruce held various jobs during his life; he worked at Lucky Eagle Casino for 10 years and was a supervisor there for a time. Bruce was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors, camping, hiking and quad riding.

He was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend who was always compassionate, caring and willing to help at a moment’s notice. Bruce was a man of strong faith and had a relationship with the Lord. He was very loved and will be greatly missed.

Bruce is survived by his mother Peggy in Coeur d'Alene, his aunt Pam Bryant of Elma, Wash., aunt Patti Voegele of Bonners Ferry, close cousins Hollie Bryant, Tatum and Cameron Emery of Elma, Angie, Darrell, Heidi Voegele of Bonners Ferry, and numerous other cousins, too many to name. Bruce is preceded in death by his grandma Wilma and beloved grandpa Erwin Voegele(Pappy), and uncle Calvin Bryant and uncle Darnell Voegele.

Any condolences please send to Peggy Voegele at 210 W. Lacrosse Ave., Room 305, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814. A Gofundme has been set up to help Peggy with Bruce's final expenses.
