Festival welcomes Young the Giant
Young the Giant will perform at the Festival at Sandpoint on Aug. 6.
The Festival at Sandpoint has announced it final lineup artist for the 2021 season, with Young the Giant set to perform Friday, Aug. 6.
Tickets for all concerts for the Festival, which runs July 29 to Aug. 8, are now on sale. Season passes will be available for season pass-holders, patrons, and sponsors after June 1.
An American rock band, Young the Giant recently celebrated its 10th year anniversary of their debut self-titled album. However, performers in the band have been playing music together for much longer. Forming in 2004 in Irvine, California, the group had personnel changes until their final group was established in 2010. Band members Sameer Gadhia (lead vocalist), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar), Payam Doostzadeh (bass guitar), and Francois Comtois (drums) combine their unique international backgrounds to form a summery blend of indie pop and anthemic stadium rock. With multiple songs reaching the Top Billboard playlists and unique tunes captured by their performance, dancing will certainly be irresistible.
Tickets are $69.95 general admission or $90.95 early entry (includes a $25 upgrade donation fee.) The patron gate opens at 5:45 p.m. and the general admission and season pass gate opens at 6 p.m. Music begins at 7:30 p.m.
