BONNERS FERRY — Boundary Community Clinics welcomes Jeanne Racer, a licensed clinical social worker, to its behavioral health services.

Racer started her career in 1999, working with teenagers. She became a mental health therapist and has worked in various capacities in the mental health field, including children and family services.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Lewis & Clark State College and her master’s degree from Boise State University in 2015.

Jeanne and her husband, Bob, moved to Bonners Ferry from Texas in 2001 with their three young children. Now, 23 years later, they are blessed with six grandchildren (and one more on the way), one son-in-law, and two daughters-in-law. Jeanne’s greatest joy is spending time with her family, and she loves spending time outdoors, working on her home and property, and traveling.

As she begins her work at Boundary Community Clinics, Racer said she is most excited to help community members, get to know her co-workers, and share lunch breaks with her daughter, who also works at the hospital.
