Vitalant blood drive returns, enter to win $5,000 gift card

The Vitalant blood drive is returning to Bonners Ferry with a chance for two people to win $5,000. 

Anyone who donates blood between March 1 and March 31 will be entered into the drawing and the winners will be drawn on, or around, April 3.  

Upcoming blood drives include: 

• Tuesday, March 11, the Church of Latter-day Saints, 6568 Alderson Lane, in the gym, from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.  

• Saturday, March 15, Safeway parking lot, 6519 Main St., from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.   

Giving blood gives people the chance to help hospital patients within the local community and nationwide.
