Boundary Community Hospital offers free sports physicals for student athletes

Boundary Community Hospital will provide free sports physicals for middle school and high school students Tuesday, July 29, 2025.  

Physicals are available for all student athletes, including those participating in robotics and flag football. A physical is required for students entering the seventh, ninth or 11th grades, or for any student who is new to a school sports program. 

A parent or guardian must be present during the exam. 

The sports physical will include height, weight, and vital signs, a neuromuscular and balance assessment, urinalysis, vision screening and a physical exam conducted by a licensed provider (MD, PA, or NP). All required forms will be completed and submitted directly to the student’s school. 

The event will take place at the hospital, located at 6640 Kaniksu St., Bonners Ferry.  Participants should enter through the cafeteria entrance on Comanche Street. Parking is available in the outpatient services lot. Directional signs will be posted to assist families.
