City pool opens June 8

The Bonners Ferry City Pool will be open to the public for the summer beginning Sunday, June 8 at noon. 

The swimming pool will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

On weekdays, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. is lap swim, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. is swim lessons, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. is lap swim, 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. is open swim, and 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. is family swim. 

On weekends, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. is adult lap swim, 1:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. is open swim, and 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. is family swim. 

The pool is available for private party rentals Monday through Saturday outside regular pool hours. To schedule, contact the city at 208-267-3105. 

The city is also offering extra swimming lessons from July 7 through July 18. From 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. there will be special needs lessons, and from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. there will be Mommy & Me lessons. Sign up at Bonners Ferry City Hall for $55 per class. During those two weeks, lap swim will not be available as regularly scheduled.
