Bonners Ferry forms summer baseball program
The 2025 Bonners Ferry 15U travel baseball team is ready for action this Friday. Pictured are the team's coaches and 12 of this year's 15 team members which include Baylor Sheets, Brent Worley, Brydin Weymer, Colson Baisden, Tyson Dickson, Gordon Woelfle, Jay Newhouse, Kordale Burt, Landen Dickson, Couper Hart, Max Thompson, Myron Michaels, Noah Miller, Rylan Leach and Winchester Woelfle.

BONNERS FERRY — Bonners Ferry High assistant baseball coach Alan Dickson, also a head coach of the Bonners Ferry Navy Juniors baseball team, will head the newly formed Summer Badgers 15U travel baseball team.
The team will play various legion baseball teams as well as club teams throughout North Idaho and Montana. Eventually, the Summer Badgers are hoping to form their very own legion baseball team starting next summer. The team's jerseys were donated by Vinyl Expressions and the team is partially sponsored by White Mountain Chain. The Summer Badgers are looking for some more sponsors to help cover players costs this year. If interested, contact coach Dickson at Dadickson12@gmail.com.
The team's first game was this past Tuesday in Rathdrum.

RATHDRUM — Tyson Dickson, Jay Newhouse, Colson Baisden, and Brent Worley all knocked RBI singles as the Summer Badgers opened their inaugural season against the River City Premier 16U on Tuesday at Lakeland High.
Rylan Leach struck out two batters across 1.2 innings in relief for Bonners Ferry, which will host the Northern Lakes Mountaineers legion baseball team on Friday at Bonners Ferry High for a doubleheader.
