PREP GOLF: Bonners Ferry girls’ golf victorious at yet another invitational

PRIEST RIVER — Sophomore Callie Bateman carded a 98 and finished second overall as the Lady Badgers won a tri-meet against Priest River and Timberlake held this past Thursday, April 24 at The Ranch Club, a 9-hole golf course located between Oldtown and Priest River.
Sophomore Nollie Hiatt finished third with a 106 for Bonners Ferry, which tallied 447 strokes. On the boys' side, senior Eli Blackmore scored a 10-over-par 76 to finish second overall for the Badgers, which finished third out of three scoring teams.

Hiatt leads Lady Badgers to another title
RATHDRUM — Sophomore Nollie Hiatt was second with a score of 101, sophomore Callie Bateman and senior Sydney Hinthorn recorded 104s, and the Lady Badgers beat out five other scoring teams to win the Timberlake Invitational held Tuesday at the Twin Lakes Golf Course.
Eleanor Sheets registered a 127 for Bonners Ferry, which beat out runner-up St. Maries by 27 strokes.
For the boys, Eli Blackmore shot a 12-over-par 84 to finish third overall. Gabriel Warren scored a 100, Makeen Loretto a 107 for the Badgers, which tied for seventh with the Logos School, located in Moscow.
Bonners Ferry will host the 4A Intermountain League district tournament on Monday at the Mirror Lake Golf Course.
