Memorial Day schedule set

Memorial Day observances in Bonners Ferry will take place Monday, May 26, beginning with a parade downtown at 10 a.m. 

A ceremony will follow at noon at Grandview Cemetery. Immediately afterward, a luncheon will be hosted at Memorial Hall at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. The event is free and open to all. Food for the luncheon will be provided by Tartan and Thistle. Although the event is free, donations are welcome to help cover the cost of the meal.  

The events are organized by American Legion Post 55 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3622.
