Pearl plans wine and craft beer event
BONNERS FERRY — All wine and beer enthusiasts should clear their palates in preparation for the upcoming Pinot, Pilsner and the Pearl ... Rock On! event Friday, Aug. 12, at 5 p.m. The evening of fine food and drink is part of the local Pearl Theater's membership drive. Participants will convene at Georgia Mae Plaza downtown before wending their way to five establishments where samplings of wine, beer and restaurant fare will be flowing. Live music will rock the revelers while trivia challenges, games and fun will be on tap throughout the event.

American White Pelicans pay visit to Boundary County
On a sight-seeing trip to Boundary/Smith Creek Wildlife refuge and a drive along the west side road with relatives from Colorado we had the good fortune to see several flocks of migrating American White Pelicans.
Supporting Tucker for Commissioner
My family and I have lived in Boundary County for over 30 years and it is nice that some things have not changed during that time. This is a wonderful place to live and to raise a family. I have hopes that my kids will be able to return home, find living wage jobs and raise their kids here.
