Selkirk woodland caribou final critical habitat less than proposed
BONNERS FERRY — The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is designating 30,010 acres in Boundary County and Washington’s Pend Oreille County as critical caribou habitat.

Bomb threats a disruption
I think that the bomb threats are a terrible disruptions to the education of the students of Boundary County and that mountains should be moved to find out who is responsible, however, I disagree with a statement made by the Herald in the Seen and Heard section of the paper.

Conoco station opens
BONNERS FERRY —After a busy month of preparations, Conoco quietly opened on the south end of town earlier this week. Drivers noticed the newly posted gas prices and started filling up over the weekend. The convenience store opened on Tuesday.
