Jennifer Putnam chosen as All-American

Bonners Ferry High school senior soccer player, Jennifer Putnam, has been selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-American Committee, officially sponsored by Adidas, to the 2006 NSCAA/Adidas Secondary School Girls All-American Soccer Team on Dec. 2, 2006.

Each year, the NSCAA selects All-American teams at the Youth, High School and College levels. Putnam was invited to attend the All-American luncheon, honoring this year's recipients, at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown Hotel.

The luncheon will be held during the 60th annual NSCAA Convention on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 at 12 noon. As a guest of the NSCAA and Adidas, they will receive a complimentary ticket to the luncheon; two All-American Award Certificates, a gift from Adidas and free admittance to the many convention programs.

Additional luncheon tickets are available for coaches, relatives and friends. They may be purchased prior to the convention for $40 each. Pre-payment of tickets guarantees the reservation and will expedite check-in at registration.

Seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Over 1400 guests are expected at the luncheon. All-American registration will be located at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel, registration desk 2 on the fifth floor. It will be open Friday, Jan. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 13 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
