To the Editor:
Steve Elgar says: no taxes on groceries, freeze home values at purchase price, support our public schools, and raise the minimum wage. In other words, he is for working people.
His opponent raised the sales tax, gave property-tax breaks to big business and opposes raising the minimum wage. This hurts working people.
His opponent also preferred to poison our lake, whereas Steve Elgar, who is a water-resource scientist and engineer wants to explore poison-free solutions.
Vote for Steve Elgar. He will represent you the people, rather than the powerful.
