Thelma Gould 78

Thelma Gould 78 of Athol, Idaho, died on Oct 13, 2006 at Kootenai Medical Center. She was born Thelma Delorse Tatom on Sept 13, 1928 in Bay, Arkansas to John and Lillith Tatom. She married the love of her life James Floyd Gould on Dec 27, 1950. She moved from Calif. in 1974 to Bonners Ferry, Idaho, where she lived until a year ago when she moved to Athol, Idaho.

She very rarely worked outside the home, she preffered to be at home when her children and husband needed her. She loved playing with her kids, grandkids and great grand kids she loved to hunt, fish, camp, pick huckleberrys and take long rides in the mountains.

She loved the mountains and the wild animals that are to be found here in Idaho. She always said that Idaho was Gods country, she loved it here.

We love and miss you Mom.

She leaves behind her husband of 55 years, James Gould and seven of her eight children. Cheryl and husband Jerry, James (Jim) and wife Mizzy, Alan and wife Karon, Michael and wife Carla, Marilyn and husband Terry, Mark and wife Lisa and Marlin (Marlee) and wife Jessie and many adopted sons, daughters and grandchildren. Also very dear friend and adopted daughter Ruth Ledbetter.

Preceding her in death are her parents John & Lillith Tatom, her sister Mamie Gould, brother James Tatom, son Roy Hollingsworth and grandson Earl Hollingsworth and great grandson Jimmy Glass.

She leaves a legacy of 29 grand children, 42 great grand children, three great great grand children, numerous nieces and nephews and many many friends.

Family services were held.
