Festival volunteers enjoyed fair

| October 5, 2006 9:00 PM

To the Editor:

The Festival of Trees volunteer committee had a great time at the Fair thanks to all the volunteers who came in to help at our three booths. Fair-goers enjoyed the Italian sodas and candy from the Fry Country Store. Contgratulations to Carol Bustillos, winner of the dog sled ride. Dan Phillips, owner of True North Expeditions, presented her with a gift certificate for a dog sled ride for two at Schweitzer Mountain.

Tickets are still on sale for the Bistro Basket at Lamar’s, Candy & Creations and Boundary Community Hospital. Tickets for the John Deere pedal tractor sponsored by North Columbia Equipment may be purchased at Kayser Insurance and Boundary Community Hospital. The winners of these two raffles will be announced during the Fesitval of Trees in December.
