Pluid, Baker families thank friends, loved ones

To the Editor:

We would like to extend our gratitude to our friends, neighbors and loved ones who came from far and near, who gave us so much support during the last illness and passing of our mother and grandmother, Esther C. Baker, and for the many expressions of sympathy, flowers and phone calls.

Many thanks to Bishop Chuck Newhouse and the LDS Relief Society ladies, as you gave nourishment both for the body and for the soul. A special thank you to Mick and Margaret Mellett for your compassionate care, to Dr. Ernest Lucero and his staff, to Mary Ann and Virginia and all the staff at B.C. Restorium, to Boundary County Hospital, and especially to the nursing home staff at ECF who gave Mom so much tender love and care those last weeks. The kind and generous acts of all were so much appreciated.
