The Boundary County Middle School seventh and eighth-grade football teams have racked up a lot of points this season and have a combined 5-1 record.

The eighth grade team is a perfect 3-0 with dominating wins against Timberlake, Lakeland and Priest River.

Boundary County beat Timberlake 50-33 to open the season, then followed up with a 32-13 domination of Lakeland and then a 36-6 shellacking of Priest River last Thursday.

The seventh grade team opened the season with a 79-45 loss to Timberlake. The Badgers had three touchdowns called back due to penalties in the game.

Against Lakeland, BCMS hung 45 points on the visitors and came away with a 45-12 win. Last week at Priest River it was a similar story as the Badgers jumped out early and cruised to a 38-6 win.

Both teams play at Libby Saturday. The seventh grade game starts at 1:30 and the eighth graders go at 3:30. The season finishes up at home against Sandpoint Oct. 21.
