| October 13, 2006 9:00 PM

Curves of Bonners Ferry raised nearly $2,000 for St. Judes Hospital during the St. Judes Work-out-a-thon in September.

Club members raised $1,951, almost twice the club's original $1,000 goal. The club is very proud of its members, a press release stated.

The community support and the hard work of its members helped make the fund raiser a success.

Member, Michelle Gross raised the largest amount of money for the cause, $275. Sage Swopes also deserves a mention as the club's youngest member at age nine. She raised $131.50 all on her own.

Curves would like to take this opportunity to thank its members, listed below, as well as the community of Bonners Ferry for their generous support during the St. Judes Workout-a-thon.

St. Judes Workout-a-thon was held the week of September 11-16 at Curves of Bonners Ferry. This was the first time the club participated in the fundraiser. Because of what club management terms its the great success Curves has decided to hold this event annually.
