Enough is enough. Vote for Grant
To the Editor:
As I was coming into town from the south, I noticed the big billboard "Enough is Enough" and started mentally contemplating its meaning. We certainly have had enough lies about weapons of mass destruction, we're safer now than before 9-11, we do not torture, and we're making progress in Iraq.
We've had enough of the manipulation of the gas prices that rise for various stated reasons but lower before election time and the original reasons have not changed. We've had enough of the demands for better education with strict standards that come without increased funding.
We've had enough of the lip service given to improving health care and providing affordable health insurance for all our citizens. We've had enough of the erosion of our rights and privacy.
We've had enough of administrative policies that have made our country lose the respect of the other nations of the world.
We've had enough of a Congress that supports preemptive wars and spends us into record depths because of those wars. It's time to change our national direction and to elect representatives in Congress who are honest and will not be misguided by the present administration. Larry Grant, a successful businessman who understands the needs of Idahoans, is the best candidate to serve in Congress and help change the direction of our nation.
