To the Editor:
Some of you must have noticed that the K. Haynes Gallery has been silent all summer. Why the sudden silence? Last fall we sold our home and gallery. We bought the former Bob Robertson place east of 3-Mile. The intention was to open a new gallery in June.
This idea was shot down when K. Haynes found out she had cancer of the pancreas. She was operated on in late May and she is slowly recovering at home.
Some friends thought she might like to have her work shown in the new gallery. Watch for dates for the show in the Herald. The new gallery is open by appointment, call 267-2007.
Katherine is still confined to bed, so don't expect to see her. Send well-wishes to HCR 85, Box 8157, Bonners Ferry, 83805.
