Aurelia "LaLa" Riley, 87

Aurelia "LaLa" Riley, 87, of 1822 Buck Drive, a homemaker, died of natural causes Sunday, October 8, 2006 at a local nursing home.

At her request, no services are planned. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Jack Riley, of Great Falls, Mont.; a daughter Darlene (Leroy) Meddock of Great Falls; three grandchildren, Susie (Mike) Bidwell and David (Tammy Meddock) both of Great Falls, and Brian (Greta) Meddock of Middleton, Idaho; step-great-grandchildren Bryce Fuller and Buddy Mahor; and great-great-grandchildren Drew Gelvick, Dylon Meddock, Brooke Meddock and Zachary Meddock.

LaLa was born March 23, 1919 in Snohomish, Wash. She grew up and attended schools in Monroe, Wash., graduating from Monroe High School. She lived in Bonners Ferry, Idaho for a number of years.

An avid crafter, she taught Armenian law for many years and was featured in the Spokesman Review of Spokane, Wash. for her beautiful Armenian lace doilies.

LaLa leaves behind many friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jack, of Weiser, Idaho; parents Joe and Angelina Gustino; sisters Angenlina "Lena," Mary and Filamenia "Fluffy."
