Without more participation, Grange may close

Master, Paradise Valley Grange
As master of paradise valley grange I feel it is my duty to let all the communities of Boundary County know what is happening.
I have just returned from Idaho Falls were we held our annual Idaho state grange session. Our state grange master announced our district grange deputies would be visiting all granges in the state this next year. To see if we (the granges) are holding regular meetings.
At Paradise Valley Grange it has been a struggle to even have enough people to have a quorum.
So at this time I am inviting everyone to our next meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 4. If we don't or can't keep Paradise Valley grange going, the hall will close.
As a grange we have a voice in our local state and national legislature. So I would like everyone that an interest in local state or national issues to please come to our meetings.
Besides a voice in legislature, the grange has many other activities that you may be interested in. Our lecturers program has photo contests, both regular and digital, writing contests and talent contests.
Our home economics department has contests for baking, crocheting, knitting sewing and of course this is open to men and women.
Our youth and junior department has many programs and contests that I can't name them all, except I would like to mention the youth and junior ambassador program that there are a lot of travel opportunities were you can meet other people from other parts of county also have the chance to represent Idaho at a national convention.
The same goes for people that win the state lecturers contest.
The grange even has a deaf and family health awareness program
There are so many opportunities the grange has to offer we can't let it pass us by. So again I invite everyone to our next meeting at the Paradise Valley Grange.
We will be giving out awards and some of the crafts that were entered in the state contests will be on display.
Hope to see you there.
