Patsy Carol Nickolauson, 73
Patsy Carol Nickolauson, 73, passed away on July 25, 2007 at Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint, Idaho. Funeral Services were held on July 31, 2007, in the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho with internment following in the Copeland Cemetery.
Patsy was born on June 3, 1934 near Bonners Ferry, Idaho to Paul and Mary (Peeples) Curless. Patsy married David Nickolauson on Aug. 24, 1963 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho after meeting again as they attended school together. Throughout her life, she worked as a cook and caregiver for many years in Spokane and Bonners Ferry.
Patsy was a charter member of the Early Ford V8 Club in Spokane, Wash., and the Rod Benders Car Club in Bonners Ferry. She spent many hours crocheting, gardening, watching wildlife and playing pinochle.
She enjoyed the many friendships she made at the Senior Center. She loved Bonners Ferry because of the scenic beauty and her many friends.
Survivors include her husband David Nickolauson of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; three children, Debbie (Larry) Buckmaster, of Moyie Springs, Idaho; Carol (Dan) Elliott, of Priest River, Idaho; Carl (Tiffany) Nickolauson, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; two brothers, George (Joane) Faulkner, of Rupert, Idaho, and Randy (Gail) Curless, of Dover, Idaho; six grandchildren, 4 1/2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who knew God and worshipped in her own way. She will be remembered for her shopping and eating trips, the long family talks, and the many years of great companionship and love which brought us all closer together.
