Rep. Sali thanks Idahoans for support

| August 3, 2007 9:00 PM

I wanted to take a moment to thank the great people of Idaho for sending a leader who has brought a strong, principled and determined voice to Congress.

Rep. Bill Sali who represents the people of the First District in Idaho has had an immediate impact here in Washington while fighting hard for his constituents back home.

Bill has quickly adjusted to the rigors of serving in Congress and has already become a recognized champion for conservative principles and common sense government reforms.

Bill has quickly become a respected member of the Republican Conference and an important voice in the Congress and has done so while sticking to his convictions and those of the people who sent him to Washington. I have the pleasure to serve on the Resources Committee with Bill and I see him fighting for the people of Idaho and the First District on a regular basis.

While I am an Oklahoma, I believe Bill is someone the people of Idaho can be proud of and urge you to help send Bill Sali back to Congress in 2008.

Tom Cole, M.C.

Chairman, National Republican Congressional Committee
