The Badger wrestlers lost last week to Post Falls 60-12.

Wins during this match were by Brandon Schmitz weighing in at 125 pounds, Isaiah Grey at 145 and Dayne Swisher at 140.

Losses were Ben Watt weighing in at 103, Dustin Koehler at 112, Josh Carpenter at 119, Trevor Hampton at 130, Joe Neumeyer at 152 and Aaron Stockdale at 145.

The Badgers also took on the Cougars of Chewelah loosing 42-41. The Badgers gave 5 forfeits and had 6 falls and 1 technical fall.

Pins were scored by Watt, Koehler, Carpenter, Hampton, Schmitz, Swisher and Grey.

Losses were recorded by Neumeyer and Stockdale.

The team went two different directions last weekend.

On Friday and Saturday, five Badgers wrestled at the Tri-State Tournament at North Idaho College in Coeur d' Alene. Teams competing were from Oregon, Washington, Montana and Idaho.

The five were Watt 1-2, Koehler 0-2, Hampton 0-2, Grey 2-2, and Swisher, who placed 8th out of 50 wrestlers

There was no team score available.

Nine of the wrestlers went to the Eureka tournament.

They were Reid Boorman weighing 103, who came in 3rd; Josh Wilson at 112, 1-2; Carpenter who placed 4th; Robert Lundgren weighing 119, 2-2; Schmitz who also placed 3rd; Matt McLean at 130, 0-2; Derrick Alt at 140, 1-2; Stockdale, who placed 1st; and Michal Kraus at 160, 0-2.

The team placed fourth out of 10 teams from western Montana.
