Seven Badger wrestlers head to State
—COURTESY PHOTO<br>Badger wrestlers went to districts last Saturday, and did so well that seven headed to State this week to battle it out in the final competition of the year.

Bonners Ferry Badger Wrestling team sends seven to state next week, Feb. 22, 23 and 24, in Pocatello. There were 13 wrestlers that traveled to Post Falls for Districts last weekend.
They took 4th place with 134 points. Individual results were Jeremiah Solt at 119 came in 2nd place, Dayne Swisher at 130 pinned his man for 1st place, Kenny Swift at 152 also pinned his man for a 1st place, Joey Lewis at 215 went against teammate Jozef Musial winning 8-3, Joey took 1st and Jozef 2nd place.
Jared Stone at 285 won 1st place with a 4-0 score, Randy Runyan at 140 had to overcome an earlier loss in the tournament to win 8-3 to end up in 3rd place.
All these young men earned their way to State, a good way to end the season with hopes of bringing home more medals. Good luck guys.
