Badger wrestlers win St. Maries IML match

In their Intermountain match with St. Maries, the Badgers hit the mat to outscore their opponents 42-38. As the evening started off, JV wrestling began with Aaron Stockdale, 135, taking the 14-3 win from a St. Maries wrestler.
The team continued to be overcome by not having wrestlers in all weight classes and losing points due to forfeits. In the St. Maries match, Mia Solt received a forfeit at 119, Zach Dugger was pinned at 125, Dan Swisher, 135, pinned his man, as did Randy Runyan at 140.
Jordan Finley, 145, lost 5-1, Kenny Swift, 160, pinned his man and the Badgers forfeited the 152 and 171 weight class. Jozef Musial at 189 received a forfeit, a pin by Joey Lewis at 215 and a forfeit to Jared Stone at 285.
Besides winning against St. Maries, another highlight to the evening included the Badgers welcoming back coach Conrad Garner who has been laid up for most of the season. Garner, assistant coach Steve Neumeyer, Don Dinning, Rex Kocler and Eddie Invernon ran the team.

However, in non-league action both St. Maries and the Badgers lost to the Coeur d'Alene Vikings who pinned both teams to the mat for a double victory.
The Badgers forfeited the 103, 112, 145, 152, and 171 weight classes to Coeur d'Alene.
The Badgers scored wins when Mia Solt, 119, won the pin, Kenny Swift took the points 9-7, a pin by Jozef Musial at 189, and Joey Lewis at 215 who scored 6-0.
