The Bonners Ferry Rotary hosted its first ever group friendship exchange this month. On May 22, local Rotarians presented their new friends from the Southwest and South Central Louisiana's Rotary District 6200's Group Friendship Exchange Team, for lunch at the Kootenai Wildlife Refuge. The visitors commented on how blessed the residents of Boundary County are to live in such a beautiful area and how friendly everyone is. They added that they were impressed with not only how many members the five year old Bonners Ferry Rotary has, but also with everyone being so actively involved. They were also impressed that the local Rotary had just started their Interact Club, who also cooked the lunch for the visitors and local club members. The club consists of students from the local high school, who like Rotary members complete various projects to help local citizens.
