Mirror Lake ladies golf update

On May 23 the game of the day was called "Honesty." Each player guessed what their gross score would be and the winners were those who played to that score: Louise Carter at 52 and Evelyn Dinning at 72.

The flight winners for low net were: A flight - Fran Crandell, who scored a net 28, B flight - Blanche Studer with a 40 and C flight - Ruth Ann Wilson also with a net score of 40. Annie Koon had the lowest putts score of 16.

On May 30 it was the club's first monthly meeting of the season with a luncheon hosted by Annie Koon and Evelyn Rae.

Announcement was made of the winner of the Ace of the Month who was Louise Carter with the lowest net score of 34. Louise also carded the lowest gross of 47.

Low net by flights were won by Linda Hiatt in Flight A with a 37. Betty Phalen, Blanche Studer and Linda Bogdan all scored a 41 in Flight B. Flight C was won by Ruth Ann Wilson with a low net of 47. In June, summer hours will be in effect, meeting at 8:30 and teeing off at 9 a.m.

The club welcomed several new members and invites all interested ladies to join us.
