Opal Christine Todd

Opal Christine Todd ended her earthly journey on June 14, 2007 and started her journey with her Heavenly Father. She eagerly looked forward to an eternity with her Savior. She was a member of the Bonners Ferry United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Her mission was knitting mittens and hats for Head Start children. "Keep those children warm."

Opal was born on May 15, 1910 to William and Roxy (Beebe) Perrin. Her husband of 56 years, Emery J. Todd, her parents and one sister Vernal Bartee preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Lucille (Leonard Jr.) Kucera, granddaughters, Angela (Donny) Baker and Wendy Kucera as well as five great-grandsons, Adam Geggatt, Eric Geggatt, Raymond Flynn Jr., Sean Flynn, Lucas Lott and numerous nieces and nephews.

Opal's granddaughter and namesake, Christine Marie Lott, has been missing since March of 2004.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to in her memory to the Bonners Ferry United Methodist Women Memorial Fund. Memorial service will be held Friday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at the Bonners Ferry United Methodist Church.
