Jansje Anna (Noble) Wilson, 95

Jansje Anna (Noble) Wilson, 95, passed away at her home near Bonners Ferry, Idaho Funeral Services was held on Friday, Mar. 16, 2007 at 11 a.m., in the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, with internment following in the Grandview Cemetery.

Jansje was born on Dec. 2, 1911, to Peter and Anna Noble in Java, S.D.

She was the youngest of five children. Jansje lived on a farm with her parents and received her education through high school in Java in 1930.

She spent a year or two at home before attending Business College in Sioux Falls, S.D. When she completed school, she returned to Java and worked at various jobs.

When her father died the family moved to Washington. At that time, she took a job with a business located in Mule creek, Wyo. She was the cook for their oil crew.

After her mother and family settled in Ellensburg, Wash., she moved out there too and took a job with the Public Utility District of Ellensburg as a bookkeeper.

There she met Oliver Wilson and they married on Mar. 24, 1946. Some time later they moved to Cocolalla, Idaho. Oliver took a job with Northern Lights and moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho. In 1951 they bought a place on the North Bench and she lived there until her death. Jansje belonged to OES, joining in Java in 1932. She also belonged to the Busy Bee's Lady's Club for many years.

She was also the secretary and treasurer of the North Bench Water Association until it was sold to the Three Mile Water District.

She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver and son Donald, her parents and all of her brothers and sister. She is survived by her two sons George and Peter Wilson both of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
