Local resident welcomes new reporter

Finally! Yes, we finally get a reporter sans an agenda other than to make Boundary County her home.

This is going to be fun to watch as Ms. Sandman gives us her perspective on life and the unique characters our beloved county has to offer.

I would hope she goes a little beyond the "facts" once in awhile and flavors a few reports with little touches of human interest.

Boundary County is not just sturgeon, mountains, and logging … it is the people of our county … warts and all, which make this a great place to call home.

I pity the tough guys who are our stoic commissioners. I have met Ms. Sandman guys; she is tough, intelligent, and is not someone easily intimidated. I would not advise anyone to tap dance during one of her interviews because you'll wind biting off more than you can chew.

Welcome to Boundary County Elaine Sandman. Go get 'um.
