Lois Ann Bennett, 70

Lois Ann Bennett, 70, of 1570 So. 4th St. Dayton, Wash., passed away Mar. 15, 2007 at the Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Wash.

The memorial services were held at the Hubbard-Rogg Funeral Home on Wednesday, Mar. 21, at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be in Bonners Ferry, Idaho

On Saturday, Mar. 24, 2007 at 11 a.m., at the graveside at the Grandview Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Glen Nysoe Cancer Fund or the charity of the donors choice through the Hubbard-Rogg Funeral Home.

Lois was born Nov. 2, 1936 in Billings, Mont. Her parents were Spencer and Mildred Munyan. She attended local schools in Montana and then DeMears Beauty School in Walla Walla. On May 24, 1957, she married Finis Bennett in a ceremony in Dayton. Lois was a homemaker and a hairdresser. She did hair part time up to five days a week for many years. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Dayton. Lois was a very good cook and enjoyed cooking meals for her family. She canned hundreds of quarts of fruit yearly when her family was young. She enjoyed crafts and sewing.

Lois was an avid reader and enjoyed watching TV and movies, especially westerns and John Wayne movies.

She also looked forward to going to the Turkey Bingo each fall. She liked watching baseball games. When her son and grandsons were young she attended as many of their games that she could. Lois enjoyed traveling around the northwest with the family when the children were young, camping and visiting friends and family. She really enjoyed good times and conversation.

Lois is survived by her husband, son, and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Dina Bennett of Dayton; daughter, Teresa Bennett of Walla Walla; two grandsons Cory Hall and Jesse Rodrick; two sisters, Edith Lockwood, Dorothy Coon and a brother Pat Munyan all living in Troy, Mont. "Adopted" daughter Tina LuJan; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Ralph, Chet, and Kenneth Munyan.
