Volunteer ambulance thanks community

| March 23, 2007 9:00 PM

This letter is to thank this very special community that we live in. Boundary Volunteer Ambulance received a great amount of support from the members of this community during a raffle held to raise funds to educate new EMT's.

Special thanks to all these people for the very generous donations presented to our education fund: Butch at Far North Outfitter's, Naples Helping Hands, Rick at the Shell Station, Jo Jo Baker at Blue Sky Broadcasting, Dean at Car Quest, Mt. Hall Mega Auction, Teresa at Teresa's Beauty Boutique, Bonners Ferry Herald, Boundary County Fair, and all those not mentioned.

The amount of support we received for this fundraiser, not just in monetary value, but also in the time spent to help us out, we could not have had the success that we had without all of you. Thank you to all who have donated in the past.

The expense of becoming an EMT is often too great for a person to manage.

The Ambulance pays for itself with the help of the volunteers who do not receive a wage and the money collected from billing and donations. Due to the high cost of running an ambulance service the funds are not always available to provide education to those who would otherwise be willing to donate their time to the community.

This is an important event in people's lives and the added support from our neighbors is greatly appreciated.

We truly live in a beautiful community, thank you for all your support.

Sincerely,

Boundary Volunteer Ambulance Service, Inc.
