Hoisington thanks community for supporting Jr. Miss
I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who worked so hard in planning, creating, and participating in this year's Bonners Ferry Junior Miss Scholarship Program.
I would like to extend a special thank you to those who worked so hard and whose names were inadvertently left out of our program:
April Bennett and Julie Smith for creating and teaching our fitness routine, Evelyn and Ron Smith for hosting our judges' interviews, Annette Stuurmans for being our wonderful contestant coordinator, Iron Mike's Gym for allowing us the use of his facility, Christa Rice and her helper for choreographing our opening number, Dan Rice for his patience and hard work, and Tom Schnieder for his entertaining stage movements!
If I have forgotten anyone else I apologize, but please know your efforts were appreciated.
Additionally, I would like to thank our community.
Once again you have amazed me with your generosity.
This year's Bonners Ferry Junior Miss willaward more than $20,000 in cash scholarships and prizes.
It is with your support that these young women are granted the opportunity to better themselves through education and experience.
Our program was a great success and the participants did a wonderful job displaying their talents, physical abilities, self-expression, and unique individualities to a sold out auditorium. Our 2007-2008 Bonners Ferry Jr. Miss, Ellen Gatchell, will represent her community proudly, for she is part of a community that is worthy of pride.
Sincerely,
Shelly Hoisington
