Canine Capers thanks Rotary for donation
Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and the generous support of the Bonners Ferry Rotary Club, there will not only be a fourth annual Canine Caper this summer, but a brand new tee shirt design contest as well.
The Rotarians have donated $200 to be used for the tee shirt contest. This is in addition to past contributions and the fact that at each Canine Caper they have generously attended and helped put the event on.
The idea is that people are being asked to design the tee shirt for the 2007 Canine Caper, and get those to us by leaving them at the Second Chance Animal Adoption Thrift Store, just off of US Highway 95 near the senior center. The background should be white (although the event tee shirt will not be white) and you may use no more than three (3) colors in the design. That is, no more than three (3) colors on the white background.
The tee shirt contest is open right now. The idea is that the Canine Caper Club will meet sometime after July 13, 2007 to review all the entries. To be valid, all entries must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2007. The Canine Caper Club will meet and then decide the winner. The winner will receive $100 and a free entry into the event. In addition, the second place winner will receive $75 and a free entry into the event. The third place winner will receive $25 and a free entry.
The decisions of the Canine Caper Club will be final. All tee shirt designs that do not win overall first place this year, are automatically entered in 2008.
Any entry that cannot be left at Second Chance Animal Adoption's thrift store, can be mailed to: Canine Caper Tee Shirt Contest, C/O Debbie Richardson, HCR 85, Box 168, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805.
If mailed, they must still be actually received by 5 p.m. on July 13, 2007. If anyone has questions, please call either Jack Douglas at 267-7545 or Debbie Richardson at 267-9413.
Sincerely,
From the undersigned members of the Canine Caper Club
