Sen. Larry Craig staying in office for Craig

Larry Craig is staying in office to benefit Larry Craig.

He's not doing it for the people of Idaho.

When politicians like Larry Craig divide our country by attacking a group to which they secretly belong, then hypocrisy is the operative word. I am sure many of us agree with Bud Larsen's letter, and we all had it on the tip of our tongue to stand up and speak out about this matter with Craig and I applaud Bud for doing so.

Our nation's most significant challenges are being ignored, and if we don't change course soon, we may be the first generation in a very long time that leaves behind a weaker and more fractured America than the one we inherited.

Perhaps more than any other time in our recent history, we need a new kind of politics, one that can excavate and build upon those shared understandings that pull us together as Americans. President Kennedy once said to the American people "it's not what our country can do for us . . . it's what we can do for our country."
